The Olson Group, Ltd. (OGL) has been a subcontractor supporting the Public Consulting Inc. OGL developed and provided continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning support to the executive agencies of the State of Massachusetts, including the Office of the Governor. This support involved:
• Development of a COOP/COG methodology,
• Consultative support to agency planners,
• Hands on support in the execution of the planning process for executive branch agencies,
• Sufficiency reviews and the development of improvement plans;
• COOP/COG planning out briefs with agency management, and
• Development and conduct of agency-level COOP exercises and department-level COG exercises addressing a pandemic influenza scenario.
