Overview

The Olson Group, Ltd. (OGL) The Olson Group, Ltd. (OGL) has supported planning, training, exercise, and on-site programmatic support for the District of Columbia Department of Health (DOH) Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Administration (HEPRA).

Planning: The Olson Group coordinated with the DOH HEPRA Medical Planner and collaborates with HEPRA staff to develop response plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Field Operations Guides (FOGs) in a variety of mission areas.

OGL staff members have previously supported DOH HEPRA planning efforts in the development of a Hospital Evacuation Plan, and Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) Mass Casualty Plan.

Training and Exercise Support: OGL developed and implemented exercises and drills designed to test DOH’s response capability and capacity to respond to public health and medical threats to the district’s residents and visitors. This specifically included extensive exercise and training support for the medical response for the 56th Presidential Inauguration.

Onsite Support: OGL provided two Full-time Equivalent (FTE) staff members for daily onsite support of DOH HEPRA programs.  Staff members were tasked to develop specific planning products, planning guidance, evaluation tools, and programmatic recommendations in areas.
