AAR for the state of Virginia regarding the 2017 Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally
The Olson Group, Ltd. (OGL) conducted an after-action review for the State of Virginia regarding the deadly “Unite the Right” rally that occurred in Charlottesville, VA on August 11, 2017. As a third-party reviewer, OGL analyzed the actions of the City of Charlottesville, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the University of Virginia leading up to and during the incident. This task order culminated in providing recommendations to the Governor’s Task Force on Public Safety Preparedness and Response to Civil Unrest.
