Overview

The Olson Group led the design, conduct, and evaluation of a High-Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID) in Public Schools Tabletop Exercise for Denton County Public Health. The exercise was an opportunity for representatives from public health (local and state), independent school districts (ISDs), emergency management, and other stakeholder agencies in Denton County to discuss and examine the current state of planning and capabilities for responding to an HCID outbreak that particularly affected the school-aged population. As part of this project, OGL developed planning meeting materials, led planning meetings, developed the exercise scenario, prepared exercise materials (including the Situation Manual, name tags, and table tents), developed evaluation materials, facilitated exercise conduct, developed the After Action Report, and facilitated the After Action Report and Improvement Plan meeting.
