Today, Meghan Hutchinson, OGL’s Senior Associate for Radiological Emergency Preparedness, testified before the West Virginia House of Delegates during a public hearing. Ms. Hutchinson spoke about the Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program, which works directly with offsite response organizations to prepare for the unlikely event of an incident at a Nuclear Power Plant. The public hearing involved House Bill 2882, which, if passed, will lift the ban on nuclear power plants in West Virginia.
