Mark Amann is an emergency management and executive advisor with 25 years of experience across all facets of crisis and emergency preparedness, response and recovery. Mark has extensive expertise in incident response leadership, External Affairs, Emergency Public Information & Warning, Joint Information Systems and Joint Information Center operations. Prior to joining OGL, he served as principal-in-charge for hundreds of preparedness efforts for local, state, tribal, federal, military, and commercial customers as co-founder of a homeland security SaaS and consulting firm. Mark enjoys leveraging best practices to build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders and to craft solutions that enhance community preparedness and save lives. He’s applied his high level of customer service and unique insights to advise executives and leaders ranging from local elected officials to Governor’s cabinets, federal SES appointees, military commanders, and C-suites of Fortune 500 enterprises. Recognized as a leader in technology and innovation in emergency management, Mark has been a featured speaker and panelist in various publications, trainings, conferences and special events nationwide.
