Overview

OGL conducted several exercises under sub-contract to SRA, Inc. during 2007.

The Port of Sitka, Alaska was our focus in the first quarter. OGL developed and facilitated a tabletop exercise for a port security plan at the Port of Sitka. We developed the accompanying media and PowerPoint packages and assisted in the design of evaluation materials. The exercise scenarios addressed terrorism and natural hazards.

The port of Green Bay, Wisconsin was our focus for the second quarter. OGL developed and facilitated tabletop exercise for port security plans at the Port of Green Bay. Media and PowerPoint packages were developed, and we assisted in design of evaluation materials. Exercises addressed terrorism specific concerns associated with Green Bay Ports Festival.

The Port of New Orleans, Louisiana was the focus for the third quarter. Again, OGL developed and facilitated a tabletop exercise for port security plans as well as developing media and PowerPoint packages. We also assisted in the design of evaluation materials. The exercise for this location addressed terrorist attacks on offshore oil platforms.

The Port of New Port, Rhode Island was the fourth quarter focus. The exercise developed for this location included the same as above, media and PowerPoint development, and assisting in the design of evaluation materials, but this time addressed the Port’s response to terrorism.
