Meghan Dunigan

Biography

Meghan Dunigan started her career as a Communications Specialist for the United States Army.  She supervised and managed all aspects of planning, installation, operation and maintenance of data, telecommunications, and computer systems.  Within two years, she formulated and coordinated communication for countless missions with top leadership while implementing new communication standards within her unit. Serving in the 4th infantry 31st division, she received numerous awards including two Army Achievement Medals for her outstanding and dedicated communications work.

After working for the United States Army, Ms. Dunigan started her college education at Everglades University studying Crisis and Disaster Management. While in the accelerated program at Everglades University, Ms. Dunigan took on multiple internships and volunteer opportunities including a 6-month Internship with Pasco County Florida Emergency Management office, where she assisted in the coordination and implementation of the Continued Emergency Management Plans (CEMP) system for tracking compliance of assisted living facility (ALF) plans within Pasco County. Meghan was also involved in their COVID-19 response, operating their COVID-19 resource management system and staffing the Emergency Management phone lines to provide support to county agencies and citizens.

Ms. Dunigan currently works as a planning associate for The Olson Group Ltd. where she supports the Planning and Analysis Division in the development of emergency operations and continuity of operations plans and after-action reports (AARs). Her focus is on the collection and analysis of submitted data and interviews with client stakeholders for plan and AAR development. With her communications skills set, Ms. Dunigan assists with OGLs digital marketing program, website design, and maintenance, and other marketing materials.
