Biography

Jakob Jones has spent his entire professional career working in various branches of emergency services. Mr. Jones has collectively spent four years serving the public as an EMT and Firefighter. He is an experienced facilitator, having participated in the facilitation of various exercises ranging from departmental tabletop exercises at a public research university to participating as an assistant facilitator during a mass casualty incident exercise with the first responders. Mr. Jones has participated in a wide variety of local and state projects ranging from the creation of After-Action Reports and Continuity of Operation Plans, Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) and Stakeholder Preparedness Reviews (SPR), to the updating of Emergency Operation Plans and Annexes. While working for the Olson Group Ltd., Mr. Jones has participated in the development of Hazard Mitigation Plans, Research Continuity Plans, and Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans and Annexes to universities and colleges, including the University of Central Florida and Virginia Commonwealth University. In his role at the Olson Group Ltd., Mr. Jones has also participated in projects for various cities, counties, and states, including Dallas, TX, New Castle County, DE, James City County, VA, and the state of Rhode Island.
